VG Wort

 

The German Verwertungsgesellschaft Wort, as with most public copyright and rights collection societies, is a trade union that has been accorded its legal capacity. The VG Wort administers royalties for its members from secondary rights holders of literary works and from radio and television broadcasting in Germany.

 

As of the year 2007, the VG Wort had some 370,000 members. Their registered offices are in Munich and in Berlin.
